There Is No Martial Arts Bible

Isn’t that interesting? There is no scripture concerning war, there is no scripture that tells you the way.
Here’s a video with some high level martial arts on it: the projection of chi beyond the body.

People just say, ‘Do you forms! Do your Kata!’ And people are suppsoed to figure it all out from just that.
Well, one in a million million will. The others will translate the martial arts as mere exercise, or combat. And the few who do make it, because they were encouraged to do, not think, will not be able to relate their experiences, or hint at a method for achieving the final goal of the martial arts. Simply, they were encouraged to remain ignorant.
So there are only a few worthwhile books, most of them are technique oriented, and none actually delve into what happens with the mind and the spirit, except in the mystical of terms. Mystical means somebody doesn’t understand, can’t organize his thought, can’t put his thoughts down in concrete form (as on paper), and his students are stuck with…whatever.
Interesting, I have been pushing Monkeyland for several years now, and there have only been a half dozen people who asked what it was, who didn’t want to remain ignorant, who decided to get to the heart of it all.No, there’s no bible, but I have provided scripture. It takes discipline, hard work, and the desire to actually know what is happening.
Thus, it is obvious that Monkeyland is for the pure of heart.
Drop by Monkeyland, or, if you’re not ready, drop by Monster Martial Arts, and start preparing yourself. A little discipline will go a long way in this sordid world. Grin.

Secret of the Square, the Triangle, and the Circle!

Merry June Fool’s Day!
Summer has officially started,
and you should make a goal…
a whole summer with one or more work outs
every single day!
I mean,
dedicate yourself!

I’m shooting the Shaolin Butterfly with EW,
and it is a blast.
We work on the karate a little every day,
smooth out his form,
make him not just intuitive and efficient and powerful,
but pretty.
Ooh la la!

The real fun though,
is when we get into the Butterfly.
You see Karate is a hard art,
establishes power,
makes a person solid.
But there is a lot more.
What do you do with power?
How do you refine it,
use it in different ways?
How do you roll it into your belly
and send out a little zap
that will knock a guy down?
You know?
So we’re having fun.

And,
the interesting concept came up today,
the square, the triangle, and the circle.
These are the three shapes
which define the entire universe.
So how are they used in the martial arts?

The square is karate.
You make a solid base,
create a foundation.

The triangle is Kung Fu,
you learn to angulate,
to slip and slide
to create small and subtle changes
which small changes
create big changes,
which…
it is a total strategy
that opens the world.

The circle is obviously going to be Pa Kua.
Though it could be Aikido.
Not much to be said about that.
the use fo the circle in those arts
is pretty obvious.

BUT…
if you study the circle without the square,
you are missing a fundamental piece of it all.
And most kung fu’s don’t really delve into the triangle
to the degree thy should.
This is a matter of arts being corrupted.
And this hold true for all geometries.
You must learn them all,
and how they fit together,
or you only have a piece of the art.

But,
let’s say a guy learns Karate,
is well based,
he needs to learn how to shade that karate,
which can be done with triangles,
and then translate it into circles.

Or,
to say it a different way,
the body is flesh and bone,
the triangle is energy
and the circle is awareness.

You use Karate to create the energy,
thus moving from body to energy.
Then you use energy to create awareness.

I know,
it sounds a little weird,
but consider it this way.

The body uses muscles.
The body likes to bash against other bodies.
Karate,
karate properly done,
changes that,
it makes you aware of energy.
The body is not aware of energy,
only you are aware of energy.
so we must use energy
but the body doesn’t use energy,
you use energy,
so in figuring out what to do with energy
we make more you.

I know,
simple as mud.
And it is.
Now the trick is to go through the martial arts
and figure out how to apply what I have said,
to learn the systems,
and go through the experiences,
to realize awareness.

Where I started was
by drawing simple geometric figures
over photos of myself.
I would do a side kick,
and draw a triangle using the feet and the tan tien as the major points.
I would do a stance,
and draw a box and fit myself into it.
I would examine a punch,
and figure out how the circle became a spiral
with the forward motion.
And so on.
This was incredible valuable to me.
Here’s an example.
You can see my mistakes,
and learn from them.

Anyway,
You can establish
or fix your karate
by using this method.
And,
if you are ready for energy,
the Shaolin Butterfly is the way to go,
and the course should be ready in a couple of months.
And,
that all said,
take care and have a great work out.

The Secret Won’t Work if You Don’t Know the Martial Arts!

The Secret is the title of a movie. Been out in book, too. It presents a fantastic method for manipulating all of life. The problem is that it won’t work for most people, but it will work incredibly well for people who know the Martial Arts.

Now, The Secret is available on Netflix, or, as I said, book. The Secret refers to your innate ability to shape the universe with your thoughts. And the secret works…for some people. Check out the following video, I make the universe work just by thought…below the video I’ll tell you why most people can’t manipulate the universe with just their thought.

Truth, people manipulate the universe with thought all the time, but most don’t know it. Most people build a universe of dullness and sloth, if not outright criminality, for themselves. Then there are the few who praise The Secret. They are right, but they were bright, honest people before they ever saw The Secret, or ripe for a change of magnitude.

But, The Secret will work for everybody if they are willing to transform themselves. The best method for this transformation is learning the Martial Arts. Karate, Aikido, Kungfu…MMA, Tai Chi, Taekwondo, any art can improve a person and make them able to make The Secret work. And the secrethere…the secret fo the secret, if you will…is discipline.

Get the sloth out of your life, be willing to learn, learn to focus you mental abilities, learn to be virtuous…these are the things that enable the secret to work.

Of course, why wait? Why spend three or four years (and then be a little loose in your ability to make it work) when you can learn the martial arts in a few months, focus your mental abilities, and awake The Secret within you?

Okay, nuff said. The door is open. Check out The Secret…then make a decision to become more aware, to discipline yourself that you might make the universe do what you wish it to do.

After you’ve checked out The Secret…I’ll see you at Monster Martial Arts. Matrixing Chi will open up your mind too your potentials. you can get a free book on the home page. See ya.

The Neutronic Secret of Life Applied to Martial Arts!

Great morning to you!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…
this is your day to work out.
you get stronger,
you get sharper,
and there is increased peace in the soul.
Work out.

Now,
let’s talk about really getting somewhere.
Let’s talk about jacking up your martial arts.
Big time.

The secret of life is motion.
The more motion something has
the more life there is.
This is just a truth.

Something stops moving enough
and it is dead.
So you have to cultivate your potential for motion.
Period.
That is the secret.

If you’re an internal stylist,
then you have to cultivate
the potential for motion
on the inside.

Okey doke?

Now,
here is the odd thing.
If you consider the secret of the universe
through neutronics,
you come up with this:

For something to be true
the opposite must also be true.

Very yin yang.
you know?

So how does that work with cultivating the potential for motion?
Simple.
It’s called ‘pile stancing.’
Though I usually just call it stancing.

You just hold a stance.
breath,
hold it.
Hold it for an hour.
Then move to the next stance.

On the surface,
it’s sort of a WTF?
But,
remember,
we’re not animals,
we are humans,
and we have this things called
imagination.
And,
under that,
we have this thing called
awareness.

So when you stance,
when you stand in a martial arts posture for an hour
your start to exude awareness.
You become aware of the stress points in your body.
You become aware of energy flow and breathing patterns.
You become aware that you are,
and…
there is this other thing…

Before there can be motion,
there must be a thought.
So you stand there
looking like a dope,
frozen in your hourglass stance
arms like you’re holding a bowl,
and energy starts to bubble within,
and awareness starts to become cognizant
of all the paths the energy can take.

Do you have the patience?
Can you force yourself to stand still for an hour?
I guarantee,
if you can stand still for as little as one hour
the universe is going to come undone for you.
Everything is going to change.

Get tired?
Want to go watch TV?
Get past that.

Bored?
Want to go to the bathroom?
Get over it.

Get this idea before you even try this…
you’re going to do it
no matter what,
and you won’t let anything distract you.
Period.

I’ve had some incredible things happen
when I have done this.
I’ve experienced some truly stark and beautiful thoughts.
I’ve learned who’s in charge of me and my muscles.
I’ve come to a deeper peace
than mortals can ever understand.

Do you want to make it?
Do you want to know the truths behind the martial arts,
and all arts,
and even you?
Guaranteed,
this will open the door.

And, to finish up,
this is the secret behind Tai Chi,
and the internal arts.
And,
this is the secret behind Yogata.

To find the silence in the motion,
you have to find the silence in no motion.
Truth.

And,
let me pop in the obligatory link here

http://www.monstermartialarts.com/Five_Army_Tai_Chi_Chuan.html

It’s a good place to get started if you want to make some silence,
and start cultivating no motion
and getting to the truth of yourself.

Okey doke.
The site is happening.
I’m slowly working on it,
putting wins in,
making the thing more aesthetic.

And I’m starting to raise the prices.
Sorry,
but I’ve got to.
And,
it’s not like the courses aren’t worth about ten times what I’m selling them for.

And,
still waiting for word form the publisher
on my novel.
Thanks for your good thoughts on that.

And,
I think that is it.

If you haven’t received an order,
if you sent a communication to me
and didn’t
get an answer,
persist.

I try to answer everything I can,
but somethings things get overlooked,
sometimes the mail (email) screws up,
so keep after me.
I’ll do my best.

Have a great work out!
