Monster Martial Arts Goes Instant Download!

Monster Martial Arts has begun offering several of their courses as instant downloads.

Monster, as most people know, offers the Matrixing courses of Al Case. Matrixing is the first actual science of martial arts, and is literally sweeping the globe. Monster reports sales throughout Europe, across the mideast, and even Asia. That Asia, the home of kung fu, recognizes the world’s first martial science, speaks highly of Matrixing.

There are several pros and cons concerning instant downloads.

On the pro side, one doesn’t have to wait. Literally one minute after making an order, a customer can be reading the manuals and viewing the videos.

Also, for the ecologically conscious, trees are being saved (no paper), as are oil wells (no disks).

While the Monster products are copyrighted, all customers are given permission to place one copy of any course they order on their computer, and to make a disk copy of the videos, and a paper copy of the instruction manuals.

So far, the first four courses, Matrix Karate, Matric Kung Fu, Matrix Aikido, and the Master instructor course, are available for instant download. Other courses will be made available in the coming weeks.

On the con side, the price of a disk copy is going up. Of course, since the government is taxing higher and postal fees are going up, and the general inflation of currency, this had to happen. But going digital has enabled the company to keep low prices, and even to offer (for the next few weeks) a five dollar discount on the digital products. Monster has stated that if there is enough business, the discounts could continue.

Al Case, discoverer of Matrixing and the author of the Matrix Martial Arts instructional series, is a prolific author. A former writer for such magazines as Inside Kung Fu, Black Belt, and others, he has written over 2,000,000 words on the martial arts. This includes over 90 individual works, including novels, books of poetry, instructional manuals, and more.

People interested in learning a scientific and logical martial art should go to MonsterMartialArts.com and peruse. Guaranteed, in a world gone violent, these quick and efficient courses are the best way to learn effective martial arts in the world.

Five Martial Arts News Headlines Indicate Society Crumbling!

learn karate onlineIf you want some Martial Arts News, just look at the following headlines.

2 Arrested, 1 Sought in 7-11 Robberies
Argument with Wife Ends in Mans Arrest
Bank Robbed
Damage to Vehicle Leads to Mans Arrest
Man Evades Capture, but is Arrested Later!

I found these headlines with exactly one click of the mouse.
So, you want to tell me that you don’t have to learn how to defend yourself?
Let’s consider the above headlines one by one.
Do you know enough Karate to handle a robbery attempt at your place of business?
Do you have the calm of mind that Kung Fu brings, that you won’t let an argument with your wife or girlfriend get out of control?
Do you know enough Brazilian Jujitsu to take down an armed bank robber?
Do you have the quick reflexes that a study of the martial arts brings, that you can avoid accidents?
Do you live in a society where people are being arrested daily for their crimes?

Do you get the point here?
While people are stockpiling food, buying water purifiers, making sure that they have weapons to use in the event that society crumbles, they are normally missing one monstrous point: self defense starts with a calm mind, a healthy body, and a study of actual self defense scenarios.
And the martial arts provides a wealth of survival scenarios. Practice the forms and you are immediately immersed in survival motions.
And, it is more than just beating people up.
In the event that society crumbles, what will enable people to live through the chaos is the calm, cool, collected mind set that a study of the martial arts brings.
So, when next you head to the store for another crate of bottled water to put in your bomb shelter, remember that you are going to have to stay healthy and smart. So pick up a martial arts DIY manual.
When next you pass scour through the ads for a gun, check out the martial arts training books.
Such a small thing, yet, considering the martial arts news headlines these days, it may be the smartest thing you could do.

Psychotic Martial Arts the Criminal Flips…No Build Up

This is actually one of the more fascinating aspects of martial arts: the time it takes for an attack to happen.
A street fight happens with two people edging around each other, then one pops, and you can see the build up.
But, this doesn’t happen to Joe Normal. Joe Normal sees the situation, defuses it, avoids it, and it doesn’t happen to Joe Normal.
What does happen to Joe Normal is that there is no build up to a fight. One second he’s feeding the pigeon, and the next second…BLOOIE! The situation explodes in his face, and he’s left to pick up the pieces of a shattered life.
This is because the criminal looks for Joe Normal, and he doesn’t make a slow transition to a fight. He jumps out of an alley, he asks a cigarrete and explodes when Joe’s hand is in his pocket, he home invades when you least expect it, and so on.
You see, the true criminal, not the kid fighting on the street, but the true criminal, picks a spot, and goes psychotic. He doesn’t build up. No way to see it coming.
Well, there a couple of things you can do about this.
Number one…be aware. Not much training in this…but a classical martial arts class-not a seminar or a quickie street thug internet package–but a real class dedicated to learning, and your awareness builds.
Sure, order a few internet courses, nothing wrong with expanding your base of knowledge, but gear yourself towards the long haul. Gear yourself towards something that has long term benefits, learn an entire art. Don’t settle for a gimmick. Remember, when the criminal goes psycho you won’t have any warning, and your chances of survival are best if you actually have a base of knowledge, not a feel good gimmick.
Check out my site, http://www.monstermartialarts.com…I specialize in classical arts, but I’ve managed to shorten the time necessary for study, and I don’t believe in gimmicks. It’s the true knowledge of the Martial Arts that you want.

Inside Kung Fu Closes Its Pages After 38 Years!

And the mighty have fallen. Victim to high production costs, low advertising revenues, and that durned economy, Inside Kung Fu has decided to close its pages.

IKF placed second in the martial arts magazine racks. After Kung Fu, but outlasting such worthies as Official Karate.

Over the years IKF spawned a range of great mags. Inside Karate, Masters andStyles, and so on. They produced a good range of DVDs and books, and educated martial artists for decades.

In the beginning, Inside Kung Fu was the brainchild of Curtis F. Wong. When Mr. Wong decided to relinquish controls the magazine was promoted by corporate bodies.

I wrote for them. Specifically for Inside Karate, and that was an education in itself. Write for tenth graders, got more pictures? Don’t laugh, it is  a model that worked, and was successful because that is what people understand. And betwixt those pics and short liners were gems of education, and even a column or two, like, (ahem) my own Case Histories.

And here we must mention  the real reason Mr. Wong’s baby will be sorely missed: it was written by martial artists. It is not glossy with one editor polishing (hyping) articles endlessly, it is a variety of die hard martial artists in their own rarely edited words. If you wanted to get the real goods on what a martial artist was all about…that, and her sisters publications, were the magazines.

Believe me, I know, because I had articles except by other mags, and I saw how they altered the copy for the bang, and deleted worthwhile information.

BTW, the issue whose image you see at the top of this article? I was in that one. That’s right. A piece on me. That’s the icing on some pretty serious cake.
