What’s the Difference Between a Martial Art!

Newsletter 936

What’s the Difference Between a Martial Art?

Why did you sign up for the martial arts?
What reason was ticking away in the back of your skull?
If you’re like me it was probably to get tough,
to be strong enough to fight back against the bullies.
And that is the secret of selling the martial arts.

To sell something you have to find a problem,
and offer what you’re selling as the solution.

The problem the martial arts addresses
is the student’s poor opinion of himself,
his desire not to be victim to all the people who bully him.
And this problem/solution has been selling the martial arts
since time was invented.

I remember a book in the fifties/sixties,
‘Super Karate Made Easy.’
And you don’t have to look for it,
it’s here…
http://monstermartialarts.com/free-martial-arts-books/

In this book situations were presented
in which the reader was addressed as being helpless,
but has fortunately studied a mysterious art.
Here’s a sample…

Your opponent tip-toes behind you and grabs your hair. To stop the hair pulling throw both your hands above your head and grab his hand. Follow thru with repeated smashes of the foot to opponent’s shin or down hard on his instep. That will be the last time this ingrate will get into your hair!

Do you see it?
You were a victim,
now you are offering the punishment.
This book sold…MILLIONS.
Wasn’t a very good book,
but it had the formula down,
present the reader as victim,
offer the solution.

When I signed up for Kenpo
I was fodder for the sales guy,
because I had just come through high school,
which means I had been bullied for four years.

In fact,
my parents told me to
shape up,
listen up,
shut up,
toe the line,
don’t fight back,
do what you’re told
and so on.

Then my teachers said to
shape up,
listen up,
shut up,
toe the line,
don’t fight back,
do what you’re told
and so on.

Even the other kids told me
shape up,
listen up,
shut up,
toe the line,
don’t fight back,
do what you’re told
and so on.

I wasn’t being raised…or educated,
I was being prepared for a life of
shape up,
listen up,
shut up,
toe the line,
don’t fight back,
do what you’re told
and so on.

So when I walked into that karate school,
and they offered me a solution,
man…I JUMPED AT IT!

Want to know a bad secret?
If you want to make money in the martial arts,
start up a website,
put a few techniques down on paper,
and surround them with descriptions of mayhem,
and sell them as a book.
And advertise the book by telling people they are weak,
and your ‘system’ are the solution.
Guaranteed.
You are going to get rich.

You don’t think so?
Go back through the internet scams
of the last few decades.

The guy
(who is described in a way that reminds you of you)
walks into a dangerous situation
(a bar, a party, a convention of skinheads)
accidentally offends
(bumps, is shoved into, makes a joke)
a bully
(a biker, a skinhead, a big drunk)
and uses a secret technique
(fight ender, prison elbows)
taught to him by a mysterious person
(monk, nun, spetznatz operative, green beret)
and he will share this system with you
for a price ending in 7.
(37.00, 47,00, etc.)

So why am I telling you this?
Because the other day I came across a website,
it was selling the same old same old,
a new and efficient system,
tossed out the slop,
focused on brutalizing the opponent.

I want you to think about that.
Brutalizing the opponent.
Isn’t that why you started the martial arts?
To stop being brutalized?
And now people are being sold on brutalizing.
They have become the problem.

The truth is that the martial arts have shifted.
They have gone from ‘defend yourself,’
to ‘beat the crap out of somebody.’
We have stopped seeking the solution,
and started seeking the problem.
Weird.

Now,
here’s the truth.
When I walk into a martial arts school,
I meet people who are not competent.
They don’t know how to teach the martial arts,
so they push fighting.
Not the martial arts,
but fighting.

Instead of drilling until one is aware of how a technique works,
the student is taught to fight…fight…fight!

Instead of learning how to control his body,
and thus the body of an opponent,
the student is taught how to brutalize.
Sure,
it’s all in the name of justice and humanity,
but it’s not in the spirit of justice and humanity.

What’s the solution?
Present the truth,
as best you can,
and hope you can penetrate to the human being
before he catches on fire.

The martial arts are not about fighting,
they are about not fighting.
About stopping the bully without beating the crap out of him.

It’s not about hitting the bag so hard you bust it,
it is about investing yourself with awareness.

Here’s the truth:
it’s not about beating some bully up,
it is about beating yourself up,
working out until you are so strong and competent
that the bully doesn’t come near you.
That is the way you create a peaceful world.
Not by pounding it into shape,
but by pounding yourself into awareness.

Here’s a win to encourage you.

Hello sir, I hope this email finds you in good spirits. I just wanted to give you an update on my progress with the Butterfly Pa Kua Chang training. I have kept up the 3 hours a day training, adding in some training elements such a lion holding the ball and the serving tea cups exercises. On the weekends I’ve been training at the parks here in Philadelphia, while my kids run around playing.

As previously mentioned I have a lot of martial experience, but Pa Kua Chang is unlike anything I had ever done in the past. It took me a good couple of months to get used to, but I have a real firm grasp of all of the basics and have even worked on my own double changes, three in total. I am absolutely addicted to it!!!

I can’t thank you enough for putting the course out there for people like me, who have no access to learning it in person here. I’ve even had several people stop me at the parks and ask to follow along with the movements as I walk the circle!

Thank you sir,
Fred

Have a great work out!

The Actual Logic Behind the Martial Arts

Martial Arts More than a Gimmick

A complete Martial Arts System! ~ Click on the cover!

Happy Heat Wave!
Happy Work out!
The only way to beat the heat
is to work out,
get so hot
that reality is cool.
It’s true.

I remember when scientists
tested Koichi Tohei
and he sped up and slowed down his heart.
Just sat there and thought about it,
and the scientist couldn’t believe their instruments.

So why not convince yourself it’s cool?

Let’s talk about matrixing.

I often say I invented matrixing,
but the truth is
I stumbled across it.
Another way of saying it is
I made so many mistakes,
there was nothing left
but the right way.
True.

Initially,
I used a truth table
out of Boolean algebra.
Lot of fun.
Lot of work.
Made everything fit.
Analyzed motion
until there was logic.

But you won’t see all the hoops I jumped through
when you order a course.
The martial arts are separated in specific geometries.
So you just order a course,
and the data is perfectly laid out,
and you go through a few arts,
and you have it.
All the geometries.

I have provided a few records of what I did.
One record,
for instance,
is
‘Matrixing: The Master Text.’

http://monstermartialarts.com/martial-arts/2f-matrixing-the-master-text/

This shows a few of the matrixes I drew,
and you can see the exact progression of steps I took.

Still,
if you want the absolutely nut
that grew the mighty oak,
you have to read Neutronics.
Philosophy, you see.

And here is where it really all came from.

One day I was sitting in my back yard,
tapping a piece of rebar on the cement,
Ting, ting, ting.
And,
suddenly…
TONG
it was like a giant gong went off.
I could see all reality.
I understood reality,
and a simple phrase jumped into my head.

‘For something to be true,
the opposite must also be true.’

That was it.
From that simple realization
and verbalization,
I grew neutronics,
which manifested in Matrixing.
But you would have to read
some books on Neutronics
to understand that process.

Okay.
the reason I tell you all this
is that there’s a lot of newbies to the newsletter.
And I know I’ve sort of said it in a quick nutshell,
but they need to understand
that there is more to this stuff than a gimmick.

When somebody says,
‘Oh,
that Al Case,
he’s a quack…’

Ask if they’ve read the testimonials at
MonsterMartialArts.com

When somebody says it’s a trick,
‘you can’t learn the martial arts that fast,’
Ask if they’ve ever seen me take a guy to black belt.
I do it in three months,
and the thing was recorded on
The Three Month Black Belt Course

http://monstermartialarts.com/martial-arts/black-belt-course/

And so on.
Really,
only believe your own eyes and ears.
Make your own decision.
If a guy says I am junk,
and he has never done my courses,
you better think about whether you should listen to him.

I’ve got 50 years experience,
I’ve written dozens of books
and produced many video courses.

All the proof is here.
You just have to want the truth.

It’s Quick and Easy…if you are willing to learn.

Okey dokey,
enough for you newbies.
Hope I’ve enlightened,
and not frightened.

I’m going to write about
MONKEYLAND!
in the next newsletter or two.
That’s a whole mother trip.

You guys and gals…

have a great work out!

How to Kick the Testicles in Karate

How to Kick the Testicles

Almost the weekend!

See you next newsletter.

conspiracy thriller

white terrorists…600 children…a new country right in the heart of Los Angeles!
Click on the Cover!

Now,
this is going to be a fun newsletter,
those guys who get tired
of me talking about the zen and the mind
and the neutronics and all that…
here you go,
the ultimate guide to kicking testicles.
I tell ya,
you can go nuts on this one…
(sorry, I had to)

Okay,
you want to end the fight fast.
He’s big,
he’s strong,
he’s mean…
and you need to put him down.
So kick him in the testicles.

The testicles weigh 3 – 5 ounces.
Your leg weighs 20% of your body.
So if you weigh 160 pounds,
a 32 pound leg
could send those little golf balls a long way.
And if you have managed to learn
how to hit with your whole weight…
zowie!

Now,
when you hit those little dainties,
the problem is that they will be smashed up
against the pubic area,
which is to say
the body will absorb the shock.
So you need to kick them
so that they absorb the impact,
and the impact is not absorbed
by the body area around them.

It sounds horrific,
man’s testicles smashed between your foot and his own body,
but most men can actually shake off the pain
and keep coming.

So you use a snap kick.
A snap kick hits and retracts,
relying on speed,
so that the impact is not pushed into the body,
and so that the force stays in the marbles.

But,
we have the problem of mass and speed.
The larger something is,
the more energy it takes to start it in motion,
the slower it is,
and so on.
So you have to practice making your body one unit,
this will increase speed.
And,
you have to ‘empty’ your mind.
This means that you focus your awareness
on your technique so thoroughly,
that no mental distractions
get in the way of the motion.

You are standing,
you snap the foot,
you are standing.
Thousands of times.
Tens of thousands of time.
Eventually the foot snaps like a whip,
the ball of the foot dings the little fellers,
all the weight of the leg stays in them,
and the guy will fall,
turn white,
puke,
and maybe even pass out.

Now,
just make sure that your attacker
isn’t a girl.

Have a great work out!

Matrixing Karate: The Series!

The Release of Matrixing Karate

Good week!
It’s only Monday,
and I have already had a work out
and
released a five volume encyclopedia.
Not bad for a Monday morning,
eh?

Well, maybe I haven’t completely released it.
But I have started.
And this is not
The Ultimate Karate Encyclopedia,
which came out last month.
This is…

MATRIXING KARATE: THE SERIES

Yep.
I rewrote Matrix Karate,
expanded the single volume on the course,
into five books.
Put more complete instructions in them,
detailed all the techniques of the matrixes,
and all sorts of other stuff.

Now,
if you have been a long time student of Matrixing,
you might not need it.
But,
if you have been wondering,
scared you’ll get taken advantage of
by an internet charletan…grin.
Then here you go.
Easy,
bite sized pieces.
More complete descriptions.
More details.
A whole new media to spread the word.

First book is out,
Matrixing Karate: White Belt.
But it’ll probably be a few hours till it shows up on Amazon.
If you know your way around createspace,
you might be able to find it,
but…probably Tuesday morning
it’ll be somewhere on Amazon.

And,
of course,
as soon as it shows up
I’ll have links to it
from my websites.

And,
over the next couple of weeks I’ll release the remaining books.

Now,
Matrixing Karate: White Belt,
deals with basics.
Some people think they know their basics,
good for them.
But I’ll tell you this,
after almost fifty years in the martial arts
I don’t worry about learning new techniques,
I just work on polishing my basics,
and this book should change the way
a lot of people look at basics.
I mean,
there’s a lot of poorly understood information out there,
and this book will fix it.

The fact of the matter is,
there are no new and better techniques,
there are only better basics.
Heck,
techniques won’t work
without better basics.
That’s the total truth.

Now,
the real matrixing starts with the next books in the series.
Green, brown and black belt matrixing levels
deal with making matrixes and applying them.
This will enable you to analyze techniques
so that you thoroughly understand them,
and know all techniques,
so there are no missing pieces
in your martial arts education.

Now,
I have missed the last newsletter,
that is because I was knee deep in this stuff.
There is a TREMENDOUS amount of work
that goes into publishing a book,
let alone five of them.

So,
sorry about that,
but I think you’ll understand.

So,
that’s it,
check it out on Amazon
probably tuesday morning,
and I’ll let you know
whent he other books come out.

Now,
Got to run,
I’m still knee deep here,
but I knew I had to write a newsletter
and let people know
I hadn’t dropped off the face of the earth,
and that good things were really happening.

Have yourself a GREAT work out!

The Seven Things My Karate Instructor Told Me

A Study in Silence and True Karate Teachings

I studied Karate for some seven years, and in that time my Karate instructor told me seven things.
I should say first that he didn’t tell me anything else.
He was a silent man, and he would sit in his office, students clustered around, and the students did all the talking. He would give a yes or no, but even a lot of that. He would just smile and enjoy.
Big difference from most people, who really don’t know when to shut up.
And, the odd thing I noticed, the more people talk the less they say; they are like radios set to some station of static and left to chatter.

‘There are many roads to the top of the mountain.’ He told me that one when I asked him which art was best.

‘A tight fist is a heavy fist.’ He was admonishing me to understand the ‘loose-tight’ concept of the fist. We of the Kang Duk Won, you see, were not encouraged to make our whole bodies rigid. The better a student was, the less tight his body was, and the more tight his fist, and only his fist, was. Surrounding that fist was silence. Emptiness. A dearth of chatter. No talk.

‘How’s work?’ He used to ask everybody that when they entered the school. It was his way to get us to start the conversation.

Once I asked him what the difference between ‘The Way,’ and a method was. He asked me if there was one, and he did it in a way to let me know that there wasn’t one. How interesting. It was the death of mysticism for me, or at least let me know that he wasn’t bent on the mystical approach.

‘I just do the forms. Everything is in the forms.’ I had asked him how he got so good, and it was part of a larger question about what he studied, how did he keep learning now that he was at the top.

‘Want a drink?’ A real ice breaker if there ever was one. But it was an ice breaker for us, not him. He was already totally and truly comfortable with himself; he lived, and he knew it, and he loved it.

‘Wham!’ Yes, he would actually say ‘Wham! when he was emphasizing a point. He would set up the technique, glancing at you to make sure you were paying attention, and then he would do the technique, liquid lightening, and say ‘Wham!’ instead of kia-ing.

That’s it.
When he taught a form he did so almost completely silently. He just showed, repeating as needed, in small sections for the white belts, and almost whole forms, and only once or twice, when we were black belts.
Past that, he instructed by example, by doing intently and with more focus than any human being I’ve ever seen.

Here’s the thing, people who talk haven’t done the forms enough, haven’t sunk their awareness into the forms deeply enough to become the forms, and to have the forms speak to them. Believe me, this is not mystical, it is hard work, and the secret to everything in life.
The simple fact is that people who teach by speaking are usually trying to explain what they don’t know. They are making up reasons to bolster their lack of understanding, and their reasons are usually wrong. I say this after almost fifty years of watching people teach.
The really sad thing is that they are going to try to explain this article, have a dialogue about it in their head.
What they really need to do is do the forms until all dialogues stop happening in their head.
They need to create silence, first of the voice, then through their forms.
This is the only way to really learn true Karate.

Releasing The Ultimate Karate Encyclopedia

Massive Karate Encyclopedia!

Hi Guys, I have released ‘The Ultimate Karate Encyclopedia.’

I began Martial Arts in 1967. I studied every martial art I could, became a writer for the mags, had my own column in Inside Karate, and over these years (nearly fifty now) I kept notes, compiled books, researched systems, and so on.

One of the things I did was go through an evolution of Karate. This included five specific martial arts, which are presented in the following five volumes.

Pan Gai Noon ~ From Kung Fu to Karate (Volume One)
Kang Duk Won ~ The Korean Contribution (Volume Two)
Kwon Bup ~ American Power (Volume Three)
Outlaw Karate ~ Secret of the One Year Black Belt
Buddha Crane Karate ~ The Birth of Matrixing.

During this time I experienced a variety of writing and graphic styles.

I actually began my first books when black and white photos were cheap, and I cut the photos out and pasted them by hand.

In Buddha Crane I used an Appleworks software program, which mean that I drew hundreds of figures using nothing more than lines and arcs.

And I traveled through a progression of Poser programs.

This will give each volume a distinctive, and sometimes historical flavor.

And, to be honest, a sometimes messy flavor. Sorry about that, but that’s history.

Martial Arts wise, I didn’t study those arts in that specific format. I studied them haphazardly, then put them together so that they made sense.

You will have seen some of the work in some booklets I published many years ago, but not too much. Most of this stuff has either been available only in PDF, and usually is bundled into one of the courses I sell at MonsterMartialArts(dot)com.

You will find that the material does progress nicely through form and technique, presenting an fairly accurate evolution of form and technique. It starts out with Kung Fu inspired Karate, and travels all the way through to Matrixing concepts.

When you look at the books, choose wisely. If you are a long time practitioner of Karate, for instance, you might find the Kang Duk Won interesting, but, then again, you might have done enough that it isn’t.

That all said, I recommend starting with Pan Gai Noon and moving forward. It is a solid start, and as you go through the books – and I expect you to do, not just read – you will find yourself evolving with the art, and understanding MUCH more about the martial arts.

And, I want to caution you, this is not an encyclopedia of form and technique. It is NOT, except where VERY pertinent, a bunch of talk.

As I said, five volumes, and taken together there are 820 pages, 79,000 words, and 1,618 graphics.

That’s a lot of writing, and a lot of information, and should keep you busy for a while.

You’ll have to look the volumes up separately on Amazon, I don’t have a central page for them all yet. Type in the name of the book + Al Case. For instance ‘Pan Gai Noon Al Case.’

That should work.

Have a great work out!
Al Case

Publication of a Crucial Matrixing Book

New Book on Matrixing Karate

Now,
here’s an interesting bit of information.
There is a brand new (almost)
Al Case Martial Arts book out!

Actually,
there’s a couple,
and there awill be a couple more,
but I just want to talk about one.

karate training manualI always had a leaning for the logical.
I always wanted things to make sense.
I wanted things to work with no mystery.
That is the spur behind Matrixing.

So odd bits of data,
weird information,
was always biting at me.
How does this fit with that?
How does this work.

In that way I’m pretty much like a lot of people out there,
especially the ones who get intrigued by Matrixing
and why and how it works.

We’re just a brand of people
that want to understand things,
that want a world that makes sense.

Nothing wrong with that.

Indeed,
there is something very good about that.

So the United States gets ‘infected’ by martial mysticism.
and people are intrigued by these zen concepts,
tan tien and wheel kicks,
and it is all based on hard work and mysticism.

Work hard enough,
long enough,
and you will become intuitive in fighting.

It’s a good thing.

But,
I wanted logic,
so I started figuring out Matrixing.

But,
before Matrixing came along
I threw myself into the old ways,
I delved into zen and mystical abilities.
I trusted the legends and rumors.
I searched about as hard as anybody as ever searched.

Now,
at a certain point
it all made sense.
It all became matrixed.
No more mystery,
just a hard core science.
You still have to work hard,
but understanding what you were working at
sped everything up tenfold.

So,
right when I was breaking through
I wrote a book called
Buddha Crane Karate.

I had written all the techniques on cards,
figured out Matrix Kung Fu,
was figuring out Matrix Karate,
and I wrote this book,
just as I turned the corner.

So it is a pivotal book,
written right at the turning point.

in this book you’ll see

the circle of blocks that eventually developed
into the matrix of blocks.

how I developed the buddha palm as a split timing sort of thing,
which evolved Karate from a block and counter thing.

the exact thing that mushes data together
and destroys the alphabet of the martial arts

you’ll see my first arguments
as to how and why the martial arts become corrupted.

you’ll see my first thoughts
solving internal energy
which will develop into the book on ‘The Punch.’

you’ll see mention of various arts
and how they contribute to matrixing.

you’ll see my first conclusions regarding
matrixing all the directions of reality.

you’ll see the data concerning how I developed
thousands of techniques from the logical arrangement
of just a few techniques.

You’ll see a lot of things that developed directly into matrixing,
or showed how I did it.

Further,
you’ll see how I created and arranged
concepts and motions
to make an entire art.

Ground up,
right from the start,
and in a way so you’ll understand
that I was not throwing away the classical,
but trying to right it.

Now,
here’s the thing.
I never offered this book for sale.
I bundled it in with the Create Your Own Art course,
and that because of the way I was using matrixing
to create a new art out of the old.

So,
unless you ordered Create Your Own Art,
you likely haven’t seen this book.

And,
when I bundled it in with the
Create Your Own Art course,
it was digital.
A PDF file on disk.

So,
there’s this thing called ‘createspace,’
and they help you make books.
Real paper books
that are printed on demand.
PODs they are called.

Mind you,
I could never publish it on kindle
because kindle software
just has a tough time translating images.

But Createspace
takes that book
and reproduces everything
exactly as it is written,
no problem.

So I finally get a book published
that I was unable to publish
because of cost
or inadequate technology,
and it is a fair important book.

Here is what one student said about it
several years ago…

Hi Al,
Just writing to tell you how much I liked your Buddha Crane Karate, I would have paid 3x the price just for that one book. ~ Stephen

Okay,
so the book is available on Createspace.
Here is their address…

https://www.createspace.com/4577595

It will shortly become available on Amazon,
and you will be able to order it through bookstores
but it will be a week or two before that happens.

Right now,
Createspace is the way to go.

https://www.createspace.com/4577595

Now,
the only other thing I want to say about this is this…

I drew the pictures with an old software program called Appleworks.
The pics are actually lines and arcs,
zillions of them,
and they taught me a lot about art,
about the energy of a body,
about constructing a body from certain viewpoints,
and so on.

I hope that proves of value to you.

So,
let me say it plain,
Happy New Year,
and I hope you want to invest in
Buddha Crane Karate,
and put it in your library.
It is one of the most important matrixing books ever written,
as it does show the actual progression of logic I was going through
at the exact time I was going through it.

Have a great work out!

Al

Karate Throws That Nobody Knows…

Karate Throws to Warm Your Heart!

Speaking of Karate Throws…
It used to be
people learned Karate
so they could one punch a sucker.
Put him to sleep for a week.
Then,
people couldn’t do it,
and by the time the nineties rolled around
they were ready for Mixed Martial Arts.
Ready to throw and lock,
ground and pound,
smash and trash,
and all that.

shotokan karate throw

Best Karate Throw

Now,
first,
you can one punch somebody if you do it right.
It has to do with depth of punch,
time of actual contact (impact)
and delivering an idea.

But,
this is not about that one punch idea,
this is about throws,
and a lot of people gave up their karate training
because there weren’t any throws in it.

My, my.
Ain’t we silly.

Gichin Funakoshi got together with Jigaro Kano.
Gichin was asking about throws,
Jigaro taught him some.
Then Gichin did a throw
that he had not been taught by Jigaro.
Jigaro was surprised and asked him about it,
and Gichin replied…
‘Oh, we have throws in Karate.’

We have throws in Karate,
what an interesting statement.
Yet the whole world thinks we don’t!
Yet the founder of modern day Karate says we do.
So why don’t we see many throws in Karate?

One reason is because it is easier to teach punches
to huge classes.

Another reason might be
the Japanese had throws,
so why teach them what they already had?

Another reason might be
the Okinawans didn’t want to teach their samurai busting techniques,
to the culture that created the samurai.

Heck,
there could be a lot of reasons.
My personal favorite reason
the Okinawans didn’t teach a lot of throwing techniques in Karate
(they did teach some),
is that the specific physics of Karate
don’t favor the particular mechanics of the body
when doing throws.

The reason I say that
is I learned a few throws,
but they relied on violent karate style motion,
and we didn’t have any ‘judo techniques’ style of motion.

Anyway,
consider all that as you wish,
let’s talk about throws.

In Pinan Three.
The spear hand technique,
you can translate that into an arm wrapping technique,
and take a guy down easy squeezy.

Or,
in Pinan Three,
when you are doing the foot raise
elbow and backfist
on the way back down the center of the form,
you can slide into an opponent,
insert yourself under his arm,
and effectively ‘split’ him.
Bottom half goes one way,
top half goes the other.
And, voila…a throw.

Or,
Pinan Three,
at the end,
when you do the horse stance,
punch over the shoulder.
Perfect for a grab from behind,
you grab his arm,
sideways movement with an arm throw.

Now,
that’s just three off the top,
the truth is,
I could easily find a dozen throws in that form alone.

However,
I don’t bother.
I was interested,
I looked,
I saw,
but I found that it was much better
to matrix the body,
isolate specific lines of energy,
and therefore to isolate the throws and present them as a matrix.

I don’t teach big massive arts,
I don’t teach Karate with all the techniques of all the other arts,
I teach karate as a specific and ordered set of principles,
as a science and not an art,
and then I teach throws
as a specific and ordered art
in Matrix Kung Fu (Monkey boxing).

To try to teach all the arts
through one particular art’s viewpoint
is how we got in the mess in the first place.
Somebody learns a concept,
say it is the clinging energy of Mantis Kung Fu,
then they try to include every single concept
they have ever learned
under the mantle of preying mantis Kung Fu,
and suddenly they are trying to teach the elephant style of Mantis.

And it doesn’t make sense!

All the concepts don’t fit together
if you try to teach them from a single viewpoint!

But,
if you teach each martial art
from the unique viewpoint of that art,
then the arts become small and bite sized.

The problem,
of course,
is that people have never really isolated
the specific concepts of their arts.
Karate is ‘hard,’they say.
But that’s not the unique concept of Karate!
That is a generality,
it points to art,
and not to science!

‘Tai Chi Kung Fu is soft,’ they say.
But all kung fu is not soft,
and so there is misunderstanding,
concepts are mushed together,
and people are left to dig their way through the mess.

Do you understand?

For an art to be considered as a science it must be made logical,
pried apart form other arts,
aligned within itself,
kept separate form other influences.

Then,
when it is understood,
it can be put together with the other arts,
which is to say,
other arts can be taught in similar fashion,
and put together
and made into a whole.

Studied as a mush,
it takes decades to lifetimes
to master the martial arts.
Taken as small, bite sized, and logical matrixes of information,
the whole art can be absorbed quickly and smoothly.
Mastered in a couple of years.

But,
don’t believe me.
Try Matrix Kung Fu,

http://monstermartialarts.com/martial-arts/matrix-kung-fu/

See for yourself.
Matrix Kung Fu is virtual all the standing up takedowns in the martial arts.
If there is a takedown not there,
it is invariably able to be figured out
from the throws that are there.

Oinky donkey,
nuff said.
I hope I’ve said enough
to bring you out of the dark ages,
because the golden age of the martial arts
is about to open.

Matrix Martial Arts shows you where the doorknob is,
and all you have to do is turn and enter.
That simple.

Now,
before I go,
Check out The Map.
It’s on the menu of Monster Martial Arts.
I used to have one of these a long time ago,
and I’ve brought it back,
very interesting,
especially if you are on it.

Okay,
remember…

Martial Arts Training Gives a Great and Hard Body!

Martial Arts Training is the Way to Go!

The truth is that Martial Arts Training will put you in the best physical condition you’ll ever be in.

Doesn’t matter if it’s kung fu or karate or taekwondo, or whatever, the fact is that physical conditioning is part of the program.

I’m 61 in the above vid…and martial arts makes me young and fast!

So, do you want to grow old? Or are you ready to get good!

Now, here’s the key: when you do Karate kata, or Kung Fu forms, or whatever, you are doing physical conditioning. Take a look at the first Kata in Karate: Pinan One. When you do that form you are doing some twenty forward stances. That means you are doing twenty lunges! Furthermore, by doing the lunges on either side, and with the body balanced different ways for different punches and blocks, you are going to get different muscle groups working.

Now, beginners might repeat the form ten times. That’s 200 lunges!

And, when you figure in the different stances, a horse stance is a squat, a kneeling stance is a different type of lunge, and so on, then you end up with an amazingly well rounded and powerful set of legs!

Want to improve the upper body? Hold weights while you do the punches and blocks.

Now, here is the glory that traditional martial arts have, you can do them and do them and do them, and the risk of pulling muscles or otherwise injuring yourself is greatly reduced.

And, IT IS NOT BORING! I can’t tell you how many times I have heard guys complain about the long, boring work out. Well, it’s not boring in a martial arts training center! It’s exciting! Furthermore, in this day and age, you need the self defense training that comes along with this type of conditioning!

I tell you, this type of training will put you in the best shape of your life, and the competitive edge martial arts builds is absolutely cutting edge!

And, here is a great, little bonus! If you don’t feel like going to the gym, you can get yourself some martial arts training videos and really pump up the volume! You can not only work out and get in the best shape of your life, but you can experience all sorts of different martial arts training routines and patterns. Kung Fu, Karate, Aikido, or whatever.

And, here’s something you might like…the best martial arts training videos are available at MonsterMartialArts.com.

How Win A Fight With Mad Dog Karate Training Attitude

Get Your Mad Dog Karate Right Here!

Mad Dog Karate training, rabid monkey kung fu, or whatever, you need to learn how to be a diehard martial artist. You simply must train so that you have what it takes to survive in a fight to the death. You have to learn how to slip off the fancy gloves and do the deed.

Opinion Vs The Hard Punch of Facts!

First thing you have to know is that, when you are fighting for your life, you can’t be a nice guy. Simply, while you’re applying Nice Guy 101, the other guy is looking for a cheap shot. While you’re holding out a hand for a shake, he’s got a club behind his back.

Second thing, if you are going to walk away still breathing and whole, is that the nastier the attack you do, the better your chances of surviving are going to be. The eyes are a valuable, so stick him in one and you are the victor. The peaches are also great for a quick win, a slam dunk in the junk means no more punk.

Third thing you have to learn, if you want to be the one that walks away alive, is that how you face your training is going to be how you face your opponent. This is really what the whole thing boils down to, and it is what this bit of writing is geared to.

Look, it’s okay to bow in a martial arts school, and conduct yourself like a gentleman, but you have to be willing to do more when it comes to working out. Don’t groan at push ups, see if you can do five more than you thought you could. When everybody else is gasping and bent over, force yourself to stand up and glare.

And, to take your work outs to the next level, take some advice from the guys who won before, and go the extra distance. Masutatsu Oyama, the Korean who started Kyokushin Karate, went and lived in the mountains for a year, building his physique, meditating, and breaking huge slabs of stone with his fists. The result was a guy who was a winner, and who rose to the peak of the martial arts world.

The martial arts are filled with tales of guys who stepped out of the training hall and into the real world, and drove themselves on to superhuman deeds. Master Ueshiba became a diehard fanatic, spending his inheritance that he might travel everywhere and train with any martial artist who knew anything. The results of his training methods are easily understood when one realizes just how big his art of Aikido became.

I could go on and on, but the message is clear. If you want to get somewhere in the martial arts, put aside your school book dreams and learn to commit yourself. Mad dog Karate, rabid monkey kung fu, or whatever, learn to demand more of yourself, and force yourself to be bigger and better in any martial art you do.

Check out the Outlaw Karate course at Monster Martial Arts if you want some real mad dog.
