Monkey Boxing Site Going Well!

Happy Sunday night!

Click here to go to: MonkeyBoxingNow.com!

The new site,
Monkey Boxing Now,
is going great guns.
Thanks to all.

And,
I should,
before we get back to matrixing,
explain a few things.

Matrixing is the science,
the logic,
the whole martial arts.

Monkey Boxing is the art I developed,
after decades of practice,
for true self defense.

In Matrixing
I go into the real reasons behind the martial arts.

In Monkey Boxing
I go into Monkey Boxing for self defense,
for reality and combat.

In Matrixing
I impart the knowledge of the martial arts.

Monkey Boxing
is for fighting.

But that doesn’t mean Matrixing is not for fighting.
Don’t get that wrong.

Matrixing can be applied to all martial arts,
bring them together,
allow one to see the truth behind their martial arts,
and fix them if need be.

Monkey Boxing is the art I developed for fighting.
It is how I teach,
How I apply myself to combat.

You will find pure knowledge in matrixing
and be able to apply it to any martial art,
and therefore fix that martial art.

Monkey Boxing develops
speed, power and technique,
in the realm of combat applicable martial arts.

Both are real.

You’ll find more drills and exercises in Monkey Boxing,
and the drills and exercises are aimed at improving
speed, power and technique.

Matrixing will give you drills and exercises,
but the drills and exercises are aimed at
building a complete art,
no mistakes or hesitations,
no problem dealing with arts other than yours,
because you understand how all arts work.

Monkey Boxing is the fastest way I know
to take out a suicide bomber,
disarm a Jihadist,
or just handle somebody protesting in the streets
and who got carried away.

I hope this makes sense to you.

Both approaches are valid,
both have fantastic impact.

But they are for different purposes.

Let me put it baldly.

If you want knowledge,
if you want to see the martial arts as a whole picture,
if you want the understanding
of how all arts fit together,
if you want to understand self-defense and fix your art,
go do matrixing.

If you done all the matrixing,
or,
you just don’t give a darn about all that stuff,
and want to learn the fastest,
quickest,
most efficient way of slaughtering an attacker,
of rendering a thug to the mud,
of unconsciousizing a terrorist,
do Monkey Boxing.

Yes,
you can do both at the same time,
but that isn’t the point of this newsletter,
the purpose of this newsletter is just to delineate the arts,
to separate Matrixing from Monkey Boxing.

I will be announcing Monkey Boxing releases
in this newsletter,
but I will probably be putting that info
into a side panel.
Or you will have to periodically check in with

Monkey Boxing

The main thrust of this newsletter
is Matrixing.

Monkey Boxers will get their own newsletter.

A New Master Instructor!

Good morning to all!
And a happy work out!

Congrats to new Master Instructor Danny Mcauley
Here are parts of his win…

matrixing martial artDear Master AL Case
I’ve recently completed my study of the Master Instructor Course and would like to share with you some of the wins I got and also what I’ve learned and gotten from the course…
…while training at a local gym lately I had opportunity to get a practical example of and put to use  one of the Three Rules and the Greatest Strategy from your Master instructor Course
I was practicing my Karate Kata and also Training in some techniques of striking on the heavy bag keeping myself to myself, in walks a pumped up MMA stylist. I can feel his eyes burning into the back of my head, but I chose to pay him no attention until he eventually asks “What is it you do?” meaning what style do I practice. To which I reply Karate he goes on to tell me how Karate is a useless martial art and how much better MMA is and how much tougher MMA fighters are compared to traditional martial arts practitioners.
I could sense he was just looking for an argument, or maybe even a contest of martial skill, as he was rather aggressive and pumped up in tone and attitude. So I decided to put the Greatest Strategy to work.
I began to talk to the guy in a relaxed and calm soothing tone of voice and began to talk to him about martial arts in general and how I like to train mainly as a hobby and for enjoyment and also that it keeps me reasonably fit and healthy and that in no way could I do what he does in the cage that he must be very brave and tough, and that I admire him for his devotion to his art. As we began to talk I noticed how his demeanor changed from confrontational to now a more relaxed open friendly talkative one I could see that he no longer saw me as any threat to his ego or toughness, and that he could see I’m a really calm peaceful friendly kinda guy with no ego. We began to talk about the fact he had trained in Karate when younger and other things, and we parted as friends.
Later on in the day I was going thru the Master Instructor Course when I came across the The Three Rules and The Greatest Strategy and it Hit Me that was what I had learned today by being egoless and calm and relaxed and being of a friendly manner I had avoided a confrontational argument or any kind of macho showdown or contest of ability and instead made a friend that day and that to me was a Win 🙂
I’ve learned so much from this course and know it will be a part of my own study and practice and teaching of the martial arts for many years to come, again AL I give you a big thank you for such great instruction all your books courses etc have helped me in being the best I can be thank you.
Best wishes
Danny Mcauley

There was more to his win,
but I really wanted to emphasize what he had done.
He used the greatest strategy and
defused a potential fight,
and made a potential friend.

All by not responding the fear
that was in some other fellow.

That’s right,
FEAR!

The reason people pick fights is because they are scared.
But here’s the trick,
if you’re not scared back,
which is to say,
if you don’t respond to their fear,
and their aggression,
and their attempt to fight,
everything fritters out
and communication can take place.

Now,
instead of Danny or the other fellow
going home with bruises and breaks,
they have a chance to work out together,
to sample each others martial arts.

How the heck do you think I learned so many arts?
Not by going and paying monthlies for years,
but by meeting people,
by sharing freely what I knew,
and picking up whatever they offered me.

That is the secret,
and super kudos to Danny.
Congrats,
Master Instructor Mcauley,
may your stances always reach the ground,
may your fists always be gentle.

Now,
before I close,
I want to say one thing.

The only thing you have of value
in this whole entire world
is…

INTEGRITY

Integrity means being honest,
having good principles.

But it means more.

When you practice CBM
(Coordinated Body Motion),
you make your body into an integral unit.
The more whole and unified you become,
the more awareness there is,
the more energy there is,
the more spirituality you exude.

I suggest you get a good dictionary,
look up integrity,
find out where it came from,
and figure out how
it can become the cornerstone of your martial arts.

How you can hold to your principles,
but never compromise.
How you can exchange and trade,
and never shred your integrity.

And,
of course,
learning the Master Instructor Course,
(and other matrixing courses)
will teach you
how to unify your body
in a mechanical and energetical sense.
It (they) will make you whole.

Okay,
Thanks again to Danny,
and to all…

HAVE A GREAT WORK OUT!

Al

Zombie Loops and the Martial Arts

Martial Arts Spirit Revealed

Good evening!
Heck,
great evening!
And have a great late night work out.
When everybody is asleep,
go out in the middle of the street,
or the field,
or whatever,
and feel the silence.
And let your emotion fill the silence.
All of it,
all the way to the moon.

I got in a discussion the other day,
with a very smart fellow.
He was telling me about these things,
I think he called them ‘zombie loops.’
Zombie loops are memories,
that condense in the brain,
or condense the mind,
or something,
so you can break through to true artistry.

The problem was,
he was telling me
that zombie loops are the result of meat,
and the body is meat,
and inspiration is meat,
and spirit is the imagination of the meat body,
and when you die
there is nothing more.

Pretty grim.

So I told him he was wrong.
I asked him who was looking through his eyes,
I told him that this was awareness,
that it couldn’t be measured,
and it was spirit,
that he was a spirit,
an ‘I am.’

But he was solid.
He believed in zombie loops,
and art as a manifestation of meat.

Weird,
eh?

So we argued,
and discussed,
and I couldn’t convince him,
and the reason was simple:
he had never done the martial arts.
He had never stared at a man on the mat,
watched the eyes
until he could see the thought behind the action.
He had never sweated himself
beyond what he thought he could accomplish.
He had never experienced
himself.

Himself apart from his body,
as an awareness that is not the eyes,
but looks through the eyes.

He was spiritually void.

And it really is a shame.

These people who believe in science,
to the exclusion of the spirit,
you have to ask yourself…’why?’

Why can’t they understand spirit?
And belief and imagination
and all of that sort of thing?

Instead,
they use their imagination
to conjure reasons and belief systems,
as to why man has no soul,
thus negating themselves.

That all said,
I thank all you martial artists out there.

Thanks for being part of something
that enhances the human spirit,
improves the spirit,
addresses the soul.

Thanks for being artists.
Thanks for delving into the discipline
until you find yourself.

Thanks.

Now,
a couple of words…

I haven’t been sending out newsletters
because I’ve been working so much.
When I came down from Monkeyland
I had to start everything over.
No job,
no place to live,
had to start from scratch.

So I’m pretty busy.

And,
second thing,
new book is almost out.
‘How to Matrix the Martial Arts…
and the Universe and Life and Everything!’

It is a recounting of the exact method I use to matrix.

I’ve told people,
over the years,
that I really wanted to sum up
the matrixing science and experience.
And this is the closest I’ve come.

You’ll have seen parts of this book here and there,
in some of the courses,
but this is more,
this is the whole thing,
and you’ll understand more about how
the courses are arranged and why,
and you’ll see the exact mathematics I use,
and the exact geometry I use.
So stand by,
I’m doing the final few readings,
working on the graphics,
and it should be ready in a week or two.
Cross your fingers.

Now,
again,
thanks.
And here’s the link for a list of my books.
Check it out,
see what you don’t have,
see what grabs you,
and check them out on this page,
which will likely put you through to Amazon,
which has more info on them.

Myth and Mysticism in the Martial Arts!

Myth Versus Mysticism in the Martial Arts

Do you study Karate? Or kung fu or kenpo or Taekwondo? Or even Mixed Martial Arts? Then let me ask you a question.

Would you turn in your car for a horse and buggy?

Click on the cover to find the source of the martial arts...

Click on the cover to find the source of the martial arts…

Why not? After all, the horse and buggy is the old standard. Will never blow a fuse. You’ll get a thousand gallops before the old girl keels over. So why not?

Okay, so let’s rephrase that…would you give up your horse and buggy for a car?

Sort of a silly question, isn’t it?

So let’s talk martial arts.

Your kung fu or Kenpo, your Karate or Jujitsu, those are horse and buggy. They are routines based on mysticism. They are born of legends which cannot be proved.

Mind you, they were great in their day, but why not put them aside for something a little more scientific?

Here’s the thing, people are taught monkey see monkey do. They learn methods based on the movements of the tiger, or some old nun, or some cosmogony that may or may not bear much resemblance to reality.

They are not taught scientifically.

Yes, the arts work, but here’s the question…do you want to ride a horse across the US? Or take a car?

Heck, the car is going to be ten times faster, easier on the bones, and fun.

The horse might be…fun.

The car is built scientifically.

The horse is a miracle of evolution…but it is not a scientifically designed mode of transportation. It is slow, requires constant feeding, and leaves noxious waste.

The car is…fast.

So what do you want to do? Keep going with the old mystical mystic stuff?

Or learn ten times faster?

Interesting choice, eh?

If you want to understand something, not just do it blindly, then you need Matrixing. And you can find matrixed martial arts at MonsterMartialArts.com.

True Story of Man Afraid to Learn (Martial Arts)

Newsletter 742
And Congrats to New Master Instructor

Got an incredible story about a fellow who is scared to learn.

Before we go into him, however…

Congrats to a new Master Instructor.

how to develop chi powerCongrats to Mathew Tucker!
Here’s is his win:

Hello again Al,
-I have a story to share with you. One if my close friends has been training in kajukenbo for the past couple years. Every week he goes and literally gets the crap beat out of himself all in the name if “body conditioning”. A week ago he and I were talking and I told him “there is a better way”. I began explaining to him the concept of matrixing and he was intrigued. I worked with him for about an hour and he was amazed at how much easier it was when I explained it (using the principles in the master instructor course). But here is the kicker, after all that he said that he is hesitant to use matrixing because it might undermine his “certified” instructors teachings. Lol. Needless to say I was dumbfounded. Al, I know you offer video testing for the individual courses, but how does the master instructor testing work? What do I need to submit? Please let me know. It would be nice to have some type of “certificate” so people like my buddy Josh will know “it’s ok to listen”. Lol.

Thank you Matthew
And congratulations.

Before I get to the qualifications
for the master instructor testing
let me talk about his friend.

The largest problem I have
is people who are blind.
Literally blind.
They have eyes,
but they can’t see.
They have minds,
but they can’t think.

Consider his friend’s position,
‘I am afraid to learn matrixing
because it might threaten what I have already learned.’
And,
even worse,
he’s afraid because,
possibly,
it might ‘offend,’
or undermine his ‘official’ instructor.

Two things come to mind.
Political correctness,
and
fear.

Political correctness because
he is afraid to go against his group,
his leader,
whatever.
Fear because
he says he is afraid.

Can you call yourself a martial artist
if you are afraid?

No.
You can’t.
You haven’t made it yet.

But the thing here is this:
he is afraid to learn.
No matter what the reason,
he is afraid.
And he is going to an ‘official’ school,
and getting beaten up every week.
Which sort of tells you
what schools are really all about.
Beating up people,
instilling fear,
so they can make money.

Go on,
think about that.
There’s gonna be some weird stuff in that thought,
but there is a lot of truth in it, too.

The fact of the matter is
if you are a martial artist,
you should be possessed of a sort of
humble arrogance.

You walk the walk,
but you’re careful in your words,
because you’re walking around people
who are in fear,
who are scared,
and you don’t want to frighten them.

Go on,
think about it.
If you gave a good, ripping
kiai (spirit shout)
in the middle of the mall,
you would have women screaming,
men dropping the pavement,
children crying,
and security would run to arrest you.

Don’t believe me?
I dare you to try it.
I’ve done it,
and that’s EXACTLY what happened.

Simply,
we are living in the midst
of a society that is scared.
Where fake martial artists bully people,
and the true art isn’t much to be seen.

So that is why I congrat to Matthew,
and to all the others
who had the courage to sidestep fear
and actually look at a new thought.
Matrixing.
A way to organize the martial arts,
and jump out of all the BS
and get to where they are going.

Think about it,
here’s a guy getting beat up every week,
and suddenly he finds a better way,
because a Master Instructor takes the time
to sit down and explain the simple facts of life.
And now we have to wait for his friend
to outlast his fear
and take a course himself.

Sigh.

So,
what are the requirements
for this higher level knowledge
that is on the Master Instructor course?
What do you have to do to be certified?

Do the course,
and write me your wins.
Write how it effected you,
how it changed your martial arts,
how you used it to sit down and talk with somebody.
How you helped them overcome their fear of…
knowledge.

That’s the key,
you know.

Knowledge.

The material of the Master Instructor course
is the simple facts.
How you use the body,
how you make perfect form,
how you make ANY technique work.

Once you read the course,
watch the video,
you are changed.
The knowledge changes you.
Whether you want to be changed or not,
you can’t deny the simple truth.

So simply send me your win.

I’ve been selling this course
since 2007,
and NOBODY has disagreed
with the material on the course.

Further,
there has been mass agreement,
not the politically correct kind,
but the unique, personal kind
of individual after individual,
that the material on The Master Instructor Course
is not just right,
but it hasn’t been seen before
on any martial arts video
or in any martial arts book.

So there you go.
You simply have to put aside
any reluctance to learning something new.
Be willing to learn something,
in spite of other instructors,
in spite of your own hesitation,
and order the course.
Then you do the course.
Then you write your win to me.
I announce you,
and certify you,
and that is it.
Period.

Easiest thing in the world,
but you would be shocked
at how many people can’t do it.

So,
again,
congrats to Matthew,
and thank you.

Here’s the link for those who wish…

How Long Should It Take to Get a Black Belt in Military Martial Arts

How Long Should It Take to Get a Black Belt in MCMAP?

How long it should take to get a black belt is an interesting question in any martial art, let alone in the military.

In Karate or Kung Fu, we are talking four to five years.

marine corps martial arts program

Click ont he cover for the truth!

Back in the forties it would take a year. Maybe less, maybe more. And this was for Karate, Japanese styles, and any other style that had a belt system.

Then Kenpo came along and they started selling black belts on what is referred to as ‘car contract’ sales approaches. That way they could keep students longer and make more money.

The actual contract was designed in Kenpo Karate by a dane instructor from Arthur Murray dance studios.

Which brings up the original point of this article, how long should it take to get a black belt when you are studying a military style, like MCMAP, or the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program.

Well, in a commercial school at the local McDojo strip mall school, at two hours a week you would put in 100 hours in a year, 400 hours in four years.

The marines, or the army or navy, in their basic training, have you 24 hours a day for up to four months. Four months would be 120 days. At one hour a day every day, using old standards before the car contract system came in, most people could earn a black belt in that time.

Of course they might have to do with a little less parade ground drilling, and look at training in how to survive with hand to hand on a battlefield, but it is definitely possible.

And, you would have to overcome certain considerations that the military might have.

For instance, they want you to take courses on leadership, and go up in the ranks before they teach you more martial arts. Which is sort of silly, because it’s like saying you shouldn’t learn how to survive hand to hand combat unless you have been around for a while.

And, they would have to revamp some of their training methods; put in more kicks, change the structure of their training so that empty hand fighting better aligned with weapons, and so on.

Most of all, they would have to consider that soldiers aren’t fodder, but that every soldier should have higher and higher training, that every soldier should have the highest possible chance of surviving on the battlefield.

All this done, wouldn’t it be wonderful if a recruit could go into basic training and come out, 120 days later, a bona fide and deadly black belt?

Fundamental Flaw in Marine Corps Martial Arts

Oops, did we do that?

There is a flaw in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP), and it is a doozy. It’s a lollapalooza..it’s even a killer!

The flaw is very simple: to test for some of the belts you need to take non-martial arts related courses, and you need to be promoted.

marine corps martial arts programNow, the non-martial arts related courses usually refer to leadership courses.

And the second part of this flaw: To be tested a person needs to be promoted.

On the surface these two items aren’t overly alarming, until you examine what actually happens.

These two things reserve the martial arts for the elite, upper echelon, and is thus not for the enlisted man.

Think about it. The boot gets a taste, then he has to jump through extra hoops to enhance his ability on the battlefield. Not fair.

And, here is the terrible news: the martial arts, and this goes for just about any martial art, Karate, Kung Fu, etc., and not just MCMAP, build a person up, and they increase his responsibility, and they make him a better leader, and they expand his moral compass, and they just make darn, better persons.

So with this fatal flaw the Marine Corps are actually stifling those gains, those abilities. In essence, by making a person take leadership courses and get promoted before they test them for advanced belts, they are limiting such things as responsibility and leadership.

It is so very odd that these people don’t understand that the martial arts inherently make better people.

And, one is forced to ask a rather brutal question: are the officers trying to stay elite at the cost of their troops?

And, here is the real kicker: If what I say here is true, then could it be that the Devil Dogs Fighting Discipline is not really a Martial Art? But just a sport designed to kill without the benefit of such things as increased ethics and responsibility!

Fortunately, there is good news here. There is a rumor that this flaw may have been set aside, either in part of whole, and this would be good news.

And, the fact that one can download MCMAP in it’s entirety does enable one to go through the program ‘unofficially’ on their own.

And, it is true that people who have studied disciplines such as Karate, Taekwondo, and so on, can be recognized for their achievement. The recognition comes late in the belt ranking system, more in the form of a recommendation for the military fighter to avail himself of other disciplines than MCMAP. But it is a start.

About the Author: Al Case has written a two volume work analyzing the Marine Corps Martial Arts. It is called ‘Fixing MCMAP,’ and it is available on Amazon. It is recommended for soldiers wishing to get the most out of their military martial arts training, or for martial artists who wish to get an unbiased and in depth look at the Marine Corps Martial Arts.

Dead Martial Artists Speak!

What do Dead Martial Artists Say

Okay, speaking of dead martial artists, a nurse who tends the dying observed that her patients had five specific regrets. So let’s put these in context of the martial arts and see what happens. And if you’re not a martial artist, that’s okay. You can always go start a class in Karate, of jujitsu, or tai or hung fu or whatever.

survivalist martial art

Military Martial Arts…Hooyah!

Number one,  they wished they’d had the courage to live the life they wanted, and not the life expected of them by others. This is interesting because there are actually a large number of people out there who see the martial arts, watch Bruce Lee movies, and they just shake their heads and don’t do it. They’d prefer to be couch potatoes, not enough strength and courage to get up and walk out the door and down the street to the nearest dojo.

Number two, they wished they hadn’t worked so hard. In other words, they never took the time to smell the flowers, or to appreciate the opportunities that they had, like walking out the door and down the street to a dojo. Heck! They could have been the next MMA champ! (Insert) I coulda been the champ!

Number three, they wish they’d had the courage to express their feelings. That’s something that martial artists don’t worry about. After a night of jousting and freestyle they are pretty laid back, say whatever they want. Oddly, they are so zen empty they almost always say the right thing.

Number four, they wish they’d stayed in touch with their friends. That is true. I remember all the fantastic people I’ve crossed fists with, wrestled with on the mat, traded ideas and done martial arts drills with…but because the martial artist has done it so intensely, and because he’s reached the depths of himself, he never lacks for friends and good times.

Number five, they wish they’d let themselves be happier. This is a no brainer for a martial artist. If a guy has the courage to get up and go learn something, to become healthy and calm and find all his fantastic attributes, if he is willing to plumb to the depths of himself, to work himself to the bone to get that coveted black belt, then he is happy. A lot happier than ANYBODY who hasn’t done the martial arts. And that’s the truth.

About the author: Al Case has been having no regrets since he walked into a dojo in 1967. You can tap into his source of happiness, you can get up off that couch and start the journey in your own living room by checking out his home study martial arts courses at MonsterMartialArts.com.

Are you still here?

The Secret of a Long Body in the Martial Arts

Secrets to a Long Life in the Martial Arts

I did Tai Chi in the fog this morning.
Oddly, a warm fog.
But spectacular.
I close my eyes
so I can better not see my body,
Until it feels like I have no body
and am pure me.
Pure ‘I am.’
Finally,
lower the hands
and the rest of the day
is filled with light and energy.
I recommend it to you.

survivalist martial artLet me tell you a couple of secrets…

First,
you don’t need much sleep.
Eight hours sleep is what mothers foist on their children
so they can have a little peace and quiet.
Thomas Edison got by on something like four hours a night,
and a catnap during the day.
So only sleep when you are tired,
not because the clock says to,
or everybody else is.
I get some of my best work done
when everybody else is sleeping.

Second,
while you should gear yourself towards organic foods,
you can pretty much eat what you want to…
IF YOU ARE WORKING OUT EVERY DAY!
Man, let me yell that again.
Have you ever noticed that the people
who hang out in health food stores
are often gaunt and ill shapen?
They are eating the right things,
but without the exercise
it doesn’t mean much.
My general rule is to stay away from synthetics
(pesticides, hormones, additives,
wax, coloring, GMO, etc.)
but I can eat what I want
because working out every day
detoxes me naturally.

Third,
make your muscles long.
Here’s the trick,
your body is compacted all day long.
Gravity pushes on it,
you push on objects,
push, push, push.
So pull it.
Elongate it.
Lengthen it.
Your body elongates a half inch or so while sleeping,
it shrinks a half inch or so
while walking around during the day.
When your body is injured
it is often because it has been compacted
(hit upon and forcibly shrunk)
So stretch it out.
Here’s the thing,
a body that is compacted
does not react as fast.
It loses fluidity of motion.

Now,
here’s something most people don’t consider:
working out doesn’t make your body long.
There is impact, there is force,
and the body compacts.
Gets healthier for the work,
but the muscles don’t get long.
So you stretch before class.
But…do you stretch after class?
Do you stretch at odd times during the day?

Now,
there’s a lot more to be considered,
meat vs veggies,
more sleep after injury
what type of martial art gives the best work out
and so on and so on.
But,
these things have to do with balance
and finding your personal path.
The three things, I have mentioned here,
forget obsessing on sleep,
eat what you want as long as you work out,
and have long muscles,
are the key to it all.
Do these things
and you will find your body getting
strong and stronger and stronger.

Okaly doggaly
let me give you my recommendation
for making long muscles.
Yoga.
Now,
oddly,
Yoga is harder to do than martial arts.
That’s if you get into the deep postures,
focus on the hours long meditation,
and so on.

But if you just take the basic postures
and flow through them tai chi style,
maybe holding each posture for a breath cycle or two,
then yoga actually works a lot better
than some of the more extreme methods.

You just sit or stand or lie down,
and let the body stretch.

And here’s something I found interesting:
what muscles are you using when you stretch?
To stand and just extend the arms towards the alls,
what muscles are you using?
I mean,
the muscles are connected to the skeleton,
and the muscles are all ‘pulling’ muscles,
So how do you ‘pull’ the body longer
when the muscles are on the inside?
Weird, eh?

Anyway,
the program I designed for Yoga
is called Yogata,
Yogata stands for
‘Yoga Kata,’
and it does what I describe here.
Lengthens and relaxes the muscles,
easy to do,
more flow,
and it REALLY works.

Excellent for edging around injuries,
finding extra balance in the body,
and it DEFINITELY makes the muscles longer and stronger.

Now,
I know most of you guys are in great shape.
But if you have an injury you want to fix,
even and especially an old injury,
if you just want some more stretch
so you can get higher kicks,
or you just want the extra speed that longer muscle gives,
then check Yogata out.

Now,
one last thing.
I forgot,
I actually forgot,
my yearly New Year’s request.

Forgive me.
If I have messed up an order,
said something you didn’t like,
done ANYTHING else that require it…
forgive me.

This is a hard world,
and life works better,
for you and for me,
if we forgive.
If we grant a little kindness,
realize that that stubbed toe isn’t all that bad,
that life is better if we ease up a bit
and forgive.

Thanks.

I appreciate it.

And,
that all said…
have a great work out!

Al

A Scary Reason to Study Marine Corps Martial Arts

It couldn’t happen…could it?

Here’s a reason to study MCMAP (Marine Corps Martial Arts Program) that I never thought of.
I like to read conspiracy theories, I actually subscribe to ‘Before It’s News,’ check out people like Alex Jones, and veer my life towards a survivalist bent.

survivalist martial artA friend of mine said, ‘You know, when the bankers destroy the world, you’re going to be fighting the US Marines.’

I blinked.

First off, banksters don’t want to destroy the world, they want to control it. What’s the good in owning something that’s all broken?

But, that said, one of those banksters (I forget which one) actually said, ‘It’s cheaper to kill a million people than control them.’

Yikes!
Double yikes, because the country is owned by the banksters, and you know those guys wouldn’t hesitate to ‘Send in the Marines.’

So the military might actually, in the extreme, in spite of the constitution, be used to ‘put down rebellion,’ ‘control mobs,’ and so on.

And the marines are part of the military, and even if the marines aren’t used against the people other military branches study Marine Corps Martial Arts.

So my wacko friend actually had a point.

Would the marines break the constitution and come to your home town and kick some serious civilian ass? I really think that’s far fetched, but everybody thought Kent State could never happen, let alone Waco or Ruby Ridge.

So the point is, whether you get into the Marine Corps Martial Arts or not, it might be handy to know what they are, how they work, and so on.

Knowing the fighting style of people that are trained to kill would certsainly jack up your current martial art.

Anyway, you never can tell when that cop who’s got rhoid rage has been militarily trained, and maybe in MCMAP. That security ‘expert,’ fresh out of the USMC and highly excitable, pushing people around at the sports event, he might have been trained in MCMAP.

Mind you, I don’t think the marines are our enemy, else I never would have written the Fixing MCMAP book. But it behooves you, in this odd and changing world, to know all the fighting skills you can, and especially if they might be the discipline that is used against you in dire circumstances.
