Achieving the Proper Martial Arts Attitude

Proper Attitude

Good Evening!
Time for a great work out!
Get your body revving,
after all,
end of the month you’re going to be stuffing it.
You’re going to NEED a work out!
Grin.

Click on the cover to find the source of the martial arts...

Click on the cover to find the source of the martial arts…

Let’s talk about the proper attitude in the martial arts.

There were a lot of bikers
back at the Kang Duk Won.
independents,
Gypsy Jokers,
Hell’s Angels.
They made things fun.

You’d work a technique,
they’d offer a critique
based on how it worked in a fight.
Interesting stuff.
Kept it all real.

There was one Hell’s Angel,
and he liked to get drunk and run red lights.
He’d do this in a car,
get roaring drunk,
give somebody a ride,
and watch them shriek in terror,
while he laughed uproariously.

Now,
here comes the question,
why wasn’t he ever arrested or killed,
or suffer other tragedy?

Because he had the proper attitude.

Hard to swallow,
eh?
It’s like saying
being a homicidal maniac
is having the correct attitude.
Let’s look at it.

He was playing games.
He wasn’t being mean.
He wasn’t hurting anybody.
He had no intention to hurt anybody.
He’d plow through an intersection
right between the cars,
and…laugh.
No harm,
no foul.

Isn’t that interesting?

So,
what’s your attitude towards life?
I know a lot of martial artists are serious.
No laughing or joking,
this is serious business.
I remember one fellow,
who actually got upset
when I called the martial arts a game.
You ever think about the definition for a game?

‘a physical or mental activity or contest that has rules
and that people do for pleasure’

Or…

activity engaged in for diversion or amusement

Or…

often derisive or mocking jesting

Or…

a physical or mental competition conducted according to rules with the participants in direct opposition to each other

And so on.

So here is this guy,
makes up a game with potential death in it,
but because he laughs and has so much fun,
he never suffers ill consequences.

Now that’s martial arts.

And I want you to think of something:
when you are laughing and joking…that’s when good things happen.
When you are grim and serious…that’s when bad things happen.
And this is a pretty diehard 100% rule.

So I repeat the question:
What is your attitude?

If you don’t understand the point I’m making,
keep doing your forms,
you’ll get there.
That’s where the martial arts take you.

If you do understand,
then how can you achieve this attitude?
How can you learn to laugh at everything?
To hold to the idea that nothing matters,
so you might just as well laugh and have a good time.
Somebody dies,
they’re dead,
so why cry?
Rejoice in life,
because someday it’ll be you lying cold and stiff.

Interesting point, eh?

It’s not Miamoto Musashi,
but it’s very pertinent to our times,
to the type of people that populate the world.

Can you laugh when somebody insults you?
Can you laugh when tragedy hits?
Can you laugh when you lose?

Can you?

Okay,
check out my last two books,
do a search on amazon for them.

Release of New Martial Arts Book on Matrixing!

Newsletter 781
Release of New Martial Arts Book

Happy Halloween!
And happy work out to you!

Okay dokay!
The new book on the martial arts is done,
should be on amazon.
It is called
‘How to Matrix The Martial Arts…
and the universe and life and everything.’

matrix martial arts coverThere are seven sections in it.
The first section deals with the theory of matrixing.

The second section shows the actual mathematics
(geometries) used in matrixing.

The third section deals with the structure of the body and energy.

The fourth section gives the exact methods I used
when I matrixed the various arts.

The fifth section has to do with the effects of Matrixing,
how it slops over into real life and changes everything.

The sixth section has to do with how matrixing brings about neutronics.

The seventh section is ‘Beyond Hands,’
in which is the overview and arrangement
of the entire martial arts.

The reason I wrote this book is because I wanted
an overview of the entire matrixing process.
I want people to be able to understand,
in a thumbnail sketch,
what all the courses are structured around.
I want people to understand the overall scheme,
and be able to put all the courses and books together,
to make sense out of the whole thing.

Now,
if you have been a long time matrixer,
then you may have seen some of this material in various form.
Hopefully the arrangement I present here,
will enhance your understanding,
and give you a leg up.

Also,
and this may be a bit arrogant of me,
I wanted to write an answer to
The Book of Five Rings
by Miamoto Musashi.
That is what the first six sections of the book are about.
The seventh section of the book,
Beyond Hands,
is an answer to The Tao,
by Lao Tze.

So that is what the book is.

Now,
you may have to google the thing,
or search for it on Amazon,
but it should be released by now.

So there it is,
‘How to Matrix the Martial Arts…
and the universe and life and everything’

Hope you enjoy it,
and I’ll put up another newsletter with the link next newsletter.

Have a great work out!

Congrats to A New Martial Arts Master Instructor!

Martial Arts Master Instructor Course

Okay,
my apologies,
I should have announced Jim a few weeks ago,
but this durned Al’sheimers really gets me.

So,
Congrats to Master Instructor Jim McElroy!

Dear Mr. Case
Something I want to say:
I’ve studied martial arts for many years (1977-) and never had them explained as clearly as your courses do. I cannot thank you enough for these courses. Sincerely Jim Elroy
Now with that said here I go:
Some Wins and realizations that i have gotten from your (Master Instructor) course:

And,
sorry to say,
I can’t tell you the rest of Jim’s wins.
The reason is that he goes through the material,
point by point,
explaining exactly how it works,
and how he understands it.

This tells me that he really understood the material,
which means that he will be able to use it,
but…
if I tell you the win then I will be giving you
the contents of the course.

Shucks,
we don’t want to do that!
Grin.

But here’s the thing,
this is the only course in the world
that people read,
and understand the material
well enough to transform their martial art.
Just by reading!

Oddly,
it is simple stuff,
but it is not talked about commonly in the martial arts,
or,
if it is spoken of,
then only in mystical terms
that reveal a fascination for what is being said,
but no understanding.

This is important,
this thing of mysticism vs understanding.

Three blind men came across an elephant.
One said, ‘it is like a wall!’
The second said, ‘it is like a little snake,’
the third said, ‘it like a fire hose with two big teeth!’

Each has a different viewpoint,
and they pass these viewpoints down
until everybody argues what the elephant is like.

Then you come across one yourself,
and you are not blind,
and you see how each blind man misunderstood,
and you are the only one that truly understands.

This is what matrixing does.
And it does it not by passing down my viewpoint,
but by giving you the actual physics of the martial arts.
Not the western world version of physics,
but the physics that takes into account
things like chi energy,
how the body is constructed for the martial arts,
and so on.

Things that people have rarely heard,
and then only in mystical terms.

So,
again,
my thanks to Master Instructor Jim Elroy.
Well done for that great win.
And my apologies for being so late in announcing you.

And,
now the news,
the next book,
‘How to Matrix the Martial Arts
(and the universe and life and everything else),’
is almost ready to go.
I am actually working on the physical version,
just a couple of things to do,
and then it will be here.

And,
for everybody…
it is fall.
Fall has fallen,
so have you picked an art to dedicate yourself to this winter?
Are you going to know a new art by Summer?

Think about it,
do it,
and let me know how it goes.

Have a great work out!

How to Tell if A Martial Arts School is Any Good!

How to Tell if A Martial Arts School is Any Good!

Good afternoon
Perfect afternoon, actually,
because I get to work out!
how about you?

New Book on Yoga. Click the cover!

New Book on Yoga. Click the cover!

Sorry i am getting behind on the newsletters,
just have a lot to do.

I was thinking the other day
about how people can tell whether a martial art school
is good or bad.
I mean…
how do you tell?
Trophies don’t mean much,
loud mouths don’t mean much,
so how?
And i realized there was one way to,
if not tell how good a school is,
at least to elevate it to good consideration.
Simply go in and chat,
and look around,
and see how many injuries there are.
Do students talk about getting their fingers broke?
Toes?
Loose teeth?
This is the sign of a bad school.
A good school,
with the techniques practiced properly
will not have many injuries.
Yes,
lots of bruises,
maybe a bloody lip,
maybe a mouse,
but no broken bones.
No hip replacements,
broken noses,
or other signs of people out of control.

The martial arts are all about control.
Can you control the other fighter?
Or do you have to hurt him to control him?

Hurting to control is not control at all.

Here’s the thing,
you practice the martial arts not to beat people up,
but rather to learn how to control yourself.
Once you learn how to control your own body,
the second stage is to control the other person’s body.
That’s what the martial arts are really all about.

When I was practicing Kenpo,
back in 67,
I broke a toe,
I broke a finger,
and I was always going slow
because of pulled muscles,
and other sorts of things.

When I joined the Kang Duk Won
we fought three times harder,
easily,
and I never broke anything.
I got more bruises,
but less injuries.
The students knew they could hurt each other,
so they didn’t try,
they tried to control themselves well enough,
so that they could control the other person.

It’s not about fighting.
It’s about the discipline of self control.
You don’t fight,
you scientifically analyze,
you break down the techniques,
and apply them carefully,
so the other person is not hurt,
but is controlled.

That’s the whole thing,
right there,
in a nutshell.

So think about it,
stop lusting for power,
and start searching for control.
It is so much more satisfying,
and will take you to the true martial arts.

Okay,
check out The Master Instructor Course
Only one of its kind,
the actual physics
of how to control your own body,
or somebody else’s body.

http://monstermartialarts.com/martial-arts/4-master-instructor-course/

I keep pushing this,
because it is so unique,
so important,
and will change your martial arts,
and all martial arts.
Period.

have a great work out!

Learn to Fight like a Girl!

Think You’re a Real Martial Arts Man?

Have you ever heard the phrase, ‘Throws like a girl?’
What a put down, eh?
Some guy so weak, so uncoordinated, that he…’throws like a girl.’
Awkward, the arm all wrong, and the baseball sails a few pitiful feet.
And, that attitude has pursued us. We think of women as lesser, and even treat them with disrespect.

Click on the cover to find the source of the martial arts...

Click on the cover to find the source of the martial arts…

Not the Amazons who propel the race, but weak sisters.
Tell me you haven’t been rude to a girl. Laughed at her. Didn’t show up when you were supposed to.
Well, fellows, I hate to tell you, but the sisterhood is about to make you pay for your disrespect. The next time you answer the door, bow on to the mat, even laugh at a girl on the street, a dark shadow will fall across your grave. You will look up at that shadow, your jaw will drop, and…Rhonda Rousey!
OMG! The bitch who knuckle slaps men, women, and people who don’t know better!
And you didn’t know better.
No fear, however, for there are a couple of things you can still do to salvage your honor, retain the upper hand, and come out with your skin intact. Maybe.
First, remember, women don’t have those hangy downy things between their legs, so don’t go for a groin shot!
Second, normally, if you are fighting a guy, pulling hair is a no no. But Rhonda’s a gal, so it’s all right if you pull her hair. Just watch out for a scissors takedown and rear naked choke.
Third, you’re a guy, you got weight, so fall down and roll away. Make her stoop to your level.
Fourth, you could always offer to shake her hand, then sucker punch her. Nah. That might piss her off.
Fifth, and last, start crying for your mommy. Maybe, just maybe, she’ll take mercy on you. Of course the world will know that you are a whining crybaby, not fit to kiss the hem of a real woman. But that’s okay. You were that anyway, or you wouldn’t have to worry about a mere slip of a girl handing you your fanny on a platter.
Oh, and one last thought: you know that phrase, ‘Throws like a girl?’ It’s been replaced by ‘Punches like a Rhonda.’
Think about it. And be respectful while you do.

There you go,
hope Rhonda sees it,
hope she likes it,
because I don’t feel like trying to pull her hair.

And,
on the serious side…
here’s the link for
Binary Matrixing in the Martial Arts.

The book is selling well,
people are saying good things,
and it really opens up the martial arts.
I mean,
wouldn’t you like to know the one secret
from which ALL martial arts grew?

So check it out,
then check out Blinding Steel,
the one and only perfect martial art.
Guaranteed,
scientific learning is so-o-o-o much better
than monkey see monkey do mysticism.

Remember,
Matrixing has the real reasons behind the martial arts,
and Binary Matrixing is the start of it all.
It is the acorn from which the might oak grew.

Now,
have a fantastic week!
And an even more fantastic work out!

The Release of Binary Matrixing in the Martial Arts

Binary Matrixing in the Martial Arts

Good afternoon!
And Yeehaw!
The new book is here!

Binary Matrixing in the Martial Arts!

The URL is…

http://monstermartialarts.com/martial-arts/5a-binary-matrixing-in-the-martial-arts/

monkey kung fuThe main purpose of the book
is to establish the martial arts as a science. To do this,
I offer a basic truth of this universe,
and compare it to the yin yang.
Thus,
myth becomes science.
Mysticism becomes science.
And all of matrixing is thus proven as a science.

Now,
I‘ll tell you more later,
In a day or two I’ll write about the structure of the martial arts,
tell you all sorts of things,
but for right now,
head over to this page

http://monstermartialarts.com/martial-arts/5a-binary-matrixing-in-the-martial-arts/

and check it out.
You want to be enlightened?
Get to the truth of the martial arts?
Understand how the martial arts were grown?
Get the cornerstone of all matrixing?
It’s all in
Binary Matrixing in the Martial Arts.

This offer will only be up for a week,
then I will probably have the paperback book out,
and be putting the thing on Kindle.
Kindle won’t allow me to sell my own book
in competition with them.
So this is more than likely a one week shot,
take advantage now.

Have a great work out!

The Problem with Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do Martial Art

Bruce Lee’s Martial Art Defined

Bruce Lee, the Martial Arts icon of the last century, created his own martial art, which is called Jeet Kune Do, or the Way of the Intercepting Fist.

Bruce wasn’t just a movie kung fu item, he knew what he was doing, and this is especially obvious when one examines Jeet Kune Do.

matJKDcovWhat most people miss, and this includes martial artists and even the students and instructors of Jeet Kune Do, is that there is a weakness in the art.

This weakness is understood only when one understands what Bruce did. He codified the initial punch of a fight.

The initial punch is the most important, but it ignores other strategies, which strategies are presented in more classical martial arts, such as Karate or Kung Fu.

To explain this further, Bruce dissected the initial punch of a fight. He looked at the specific stages of the punch, so that one could understand how to ‘beat’ the punch. This one item can be understood thusly:

Do you punch before the attack?

Do you punch during the attack?

Do you punch after the attack?

To be precise, he breaks it down further, i believe there are five specific stages at which one could ‘attack the attack,’ but this will simplify for the purpose of this article, and make it easy enough to understand.

And, he followed this same, simple logic in describing methods of attacking the attack.

Do you attack directly?

Do you attack by combination?

Do you attack indirectly?

And so on.

The result of this magnifying glass approach is that one REALLY understands the opening punch of a fight.

The problem comes about when the fight goes past one punch. (Or one kick, one strike, etc.)

Now one must consider strategies of setting up for the second strike, strategies for handling two attackers (two potential first strikes), and so on.

To be honest, Bruce understood this, and this writer has no doubt that the advanced practitioners, which means the ons trained by Bruce himself, understand such points.

But as the art of Jeet Kune Do expands there is degradation, concepts are lost, and these advanced theories are ignored.

This highlights just one of the many potential problems in Jeet Kune Do, the Art of Bruce Lee.

Al Case began martial arts in 1967, became a writer for the magazines, and had his own column in Inside Karate. If you wish to explore more concerning the strengths and weaknesses of Jeet Kune Do, from the viewpoint of one who has studied martial arts for nearly fifty years, take a look at his book, ‘How toMatrix Jeet Kune Do,’ which is available on Amazon, or at Createspace. The author’s website is monstermartialarts.com.

A Martial Art Disappears!

Okay,
let’s talk about that great fount of info,
youtube.

I like youtube,
it tells you about lots of arts.
Unfortunately,
it doesn’t teach.
It shows,
but there is no instruction.
This is okay
if you have lots of experience,
but if you don’t
then you are getting,
at best,
what the amateurs think,
at worst,
wrong ideas,
if any ideas at all.

Neutronics,
the most powerful information int he history of the martial arts

I always remember something I read,
so many years ago.
If you want to get excited,
read a headline,
if you want to get educated,
read a book.
Or,
in keeping with this theme,
do a book/video course.

I think the original concept was,
excitable and slanted info from a newspaper,
not much info at all.
A better rounded picture,
but the data is only the surface variety,
not in depth.
Read a book,
get the whole picture.

Interesting,
eh?
Especially in light of this age of information
we are entering.

And,
of course,
(grin)
the best source of martial arts info on the planet
is Monster Martial Arts.
Of course.

And,
I should tell you at this point,
that Blinding Steel is coming down.
I’m taking it off the website.
Don’t know for how long,
maybe for good,
maybe for a while,
but,
if you want the price it is offered at now,
get it quick.

Blinding Steel is my heart,
Monkey Boxing,
it’s goot ALL sorts of data
about who to get faster,
a logical method for weapons,
disarming,
transitioning to throws,
and so on.
Very potent stuff.
I always recommend you get Matrix Karate,
and the Master Instructor Course,
because that is the heart of the matrixing method.
But the end result of the matrixing method
is Blinding Steel.

So pick it up quick,
it won’t be back,
at least not at this price.

The good news,
I’m putting it together with an intro course
that I am referring to as Binary Martial Arts.
I undercut even Matrixing,
I get down to why the martial arts are a fantasy,
for that matter,
why you are a fantasy,
and I tell the truth about the martial arts,
how to make them not a fantasy,
how to make a real art evolve,
which makes yourself evolve.

More on that later.
Probably a week or two before I have that all polished up.
I have it written,
and it is a whammed slammer.
In fact,
it is so powerful,
and it made me realize something:
this stuff that I am doing,
this matrixing and neutronics,
is more powerful than
The Tao (Lao Tsu)
or even zen.

When people look back at this era,
at what happened to the martial arts
at the dawn of the information age,
they will point to Matrixing and Neutronics,
as the single most potent occurrence,
in the history of the martial arts.
I’m not bragging,
it is just is the value of information.
It is the the fat of mysticism
becoming a science,
a logic,
an actual technology.

When you think about it,
The Tao (for instance)
was exiting the stone age,
it was concepts being written down and passed on.
But the concepts weren’t ordered
or even understood.
Matrixing changes that.
Matrixing is the transition from mysticism
into definable knowledge.

Okay,
I’ve talked long enough.
Remember,
Blinding Steel,
last chance to get it,
right here…

A Great Birthday Win in the Martial Arts!

Newsletter 761
A Great Birthday Win

Hey Hey and Hi!
I’m just about to work out,
gonna do it right after writing this.
So when you finish reading,
make sure you work out, too.

master yoga

martial arts

Be silent, my friend, and hear yourself think…

I received a great win,
and I want to share it.
Then I’ve got something to ask you.
Here’s the win…

Hey Al!
First off: all the technical stuff (downloads and video access) worked perfectly.  Thank you very much for your (professional and courteous) concern.
I want to apologize for the delay in my response. I saw your email, and wanted to be sure to give you an honest response, so I decided to check all the downloads first. And then, while I was waiting on the other downloads, I thought I would read a little bit…
Now, three days later, I’ve read everything, and I’ve gone back to your site to read about all the courses you have available.  Why?  Because, put simply:
After 24 years of Martial Arts training (including instructor certification in three different arts and several years of teaching professionally in both a storefront and through seminars), Matrix Karate is THE SINGLE BEST PEDAGOGICAL METHOD (for the martial arts) I have EVER had the pleasure to encounter.
And you are welcome to quote me on that, or anything I have to say here, in whole or in part, should you find it convenient or beneficial to do so.
I was thoroughly shocked to find your work, because I have been trying to ‘get’ the True Way through studying many arts. I have found some pretty awesome things while comparing Karate to Wing Chun, practing Aikido weapons before Tai Chi play, and incorporating Qi Gung into my Krav Maga. But I felt there was something more, something deeper… And I believe I have found it in Matrixing!
Jeff

Thank you Jeff,
wins really make my day.
And,
this one hit me good,
because,
IT’S MY BIRTHDAY!

It’s always nice to get a little present, eh?

And, that brings us to the thing I was going to ask you.

Forgive me.

I ask this twice a year.
Birthday and Christmas.
Simply,
if I have messed up,
offended,
done something wrong,
said something that rubbed you the wrong way,
or ANYTHING,
forgive me.

It is important to live a clean life,
and this one thing
helps keep me clean.
Keeps the thoughts pure in my universe,
and keeps my martial arts popping.

So thank you.

And,
I guess I should say one other thing about this.

Many people walk through life
looking for people to tell them they are great.
I go through life looking for my mistakes.
You learn ten times more from a mistake,
than you do from a pat on the back.

Nothing wrong with a pat on the back.
I heartily recommend them,
but,
shove my face in a good mistake.
It will teach me much more,
and I will be better for it.

Okay,
Last thing.
It’s the beginning of summer.
Kids are getting out of school,
people are planning vacation,
so what martial art are you going to learn this summer?
The three month Karate course will work nicely.
Set that goal,
a Black Belt by september,
plan out a daily work out,
a couple of hours will do well,
and then make that goal happen.

Look,
you see that PX90 thing on TV,
three months to a totally changed body.
And the military takes people
and totally changes them in 3 – 4 months,
so why the heck can’t you learn something like Karate?
Or kung fu or whatever?
In three months!
It will not only change your body,
make a completely different you,
give you the ability to self defend,
but it will give you
an accomplishment of knowledge
like nothing else on the planet.
Being a black belt
is simply the best knowledge you can have.
It is the best thing you can be.

So,
why not?
What the heck else you got going?
Eh?

Okay, Here’s the address…

Now,
go out and have a great work out!

The Truth About Classical Karate Kicks

What Do You Do if Somebody Grabs Your Kick!

From the Newsletter (Subscribe in the sidebar!)

I received a great email,
the question it asked was about kicks.
What do you do when somebody grabs your leg?

Now this is sort of funny,
because kicks,
and kicking exercises
have degraded so much,
this is a valid question.
It didn’t used to be valid.
I’ll be speaking specifically of the side thrust kick here.

kick boxing training manualflykickBack in Kenpo,
back in 1967,
we would just twist the hips and pull the kick back.
It required a certain flexibility of leg,
but it was easy.
You got used to pulling with the hips,
and we didn’t know we were training
with a sort of ‘whole body’ technique,
or what I call CBM,
Coordinated Body Motion,
using the whole body as one unit.

And,
another technique we practiced
was to do a shoulder roll away,
because the catcher couldn’t
hang on to the whole body weight.

Now Kenpo is a good art,
lots of fun,
but there are some problems with it.
In combining several types of arts,
they mixed concepts,
so consider how we used to handle a caught leg
a caught side thrust kick,
in the Kang Duk Won.

Near every class
for over three years,
we did something called plant and push.
We did it with a front heel thrust,
and with a side thrust kick.
With plant and push
you and your partner start in the horse stance.
You shuffle forward,
‘popping’ really,
exploding from the tan tien.
Both feet start motion at the same time,
the front leg plants on the partner’s waist,
and the back foot replaces the front foot,
they both land at the same time.
Doing it this way causes the tan tien to explode,
to ‘pop’ with energy.

Now,
you aren’t kicking,
you are placing your foot,
and then you push.
You only push a couple of inches,
but that is the exact area
of muscle and energy needed
to develop the power in a kick.
You push the person’s whole body,
and he gives way,
just enough
so you have to use your power.

Now,
after three or four years of doing this exercise,
an interesting thing happened.
We could kick,
and if somebody grabbed the thrust kick,
we would hop slightly,
jamming weight down the support leg,
and extending the caught leg,
and we could plant and push the fellow away.
Could do a lot of damage,
really.

This is a true ‘chi power’ kick,
a complete CBM training method.
We stomp to create more energy and thrust the hips,
the reverse of kenpo,
but the same whole body principle.

The thing is that this exercise
is the type that many people look down on,
because they think it can’t be used,
and they don’t realize
how much power accumulates,
and how the person changes over time.
People simply don’t practice this exercise,
and,
to tell the truth,
I never saw it outside of our school.

When they kick today,
they use the kicks from Muy Thai,
and they slop through,
no focus.
They use the legs for bashers,
and they don’t develop pin point accuracy.

We would practice our kicks religiously,
hundreds and hundreds and hundreds
of kicks per kick per side.
We got to the point where we used the ball of the foot
like a balpeen hammer,
right in the center of the chest.
Knocked the F out of anybody,
and we were so fast that people couldn’t catch our kicks.
When I got my black belt
I could kick ANYBODY that was a lower belt.
No problem.
But I couldn’t kick other black belts,
and that was where we would get into catching kicks,
and the worth of the plant and push exercise.

BUT,
you have to do it for years.
You can’t be one of these guys
that thinks hitting the bag can be done
with any part of the foot,
and slop doesn’t matter
as long as you kick hard.

You have to focus,
use awareness,
use the ball of the foot,
snap the leg back,
no pause in the cocking position
(when the leg is next to the hip)
sink the weight at impact,
use the whole body
so that the body is like whip.
Takes a lot of work.
But that is the value of the true art.

The world,
unfortunately,
wants the glitter and bauble
the bruises and blood
of the octagon.
They want image,
not art.
But that’s okay.
Everybody has their choices.

Anyway,
hope this helps.
You will find me talking about Plant and Push
every once in a while.
I’ll bet it is in the Power Kicks course,
which is the freebie
attached to the Matrix Karate course.

Okay,
‘nuff said,
have yourself a GREAT weekend!
Lots of work outs,
